They really used the most basic marketing techniques they could possibly use… Music of a certain era to appeal to a certain audience, hyperbole renders and sound production (AKA fake engine noise and mechanisms). And even just flat out lying about the capabilities of the car. Nice.

I got one of these as a loaner at the Toyo dealership when I went in for service a few weeks ago. I can attest, it was the first time I've ever wanted to buy a Camry. It was SUPER fun to drive, my kids loved it, and my wife thought it was totally me. And I was telling my wife after seeing this commercial, I really want one of these!

I understand making this car RWD is out of the question and will raise the price and cannibalize Lexus sales. BUT...If Camry offerred a AWD platform, this would've been okay. Any front wheel drive with more than 270hp and no limited slip differential is pointless.

I bough a 2013 Camry with a recall, the recall was replace somehow, the transmisión was broke due to their recall, now I have to pay for a new transmisión out of my pocket $6200.00 thanks Toyota yes I already spoke to someone about this problem they told me to take a hike. Good luck people buying a Camry if it breaks.
